I got my MRI results back and they were normal so NO brain tumors!! Which is a very good thing!!!!!

The only thing I am waiting for now is the results of my blood tests and then we can find out what's been wrong with me...hopefully it's nothing too serious!!

I hate my job...

I hate my job!!!

I have been sick for the past month or so as I have said earlier and my work knows this. I have had to miss a few days because of being sick and they have not said anything to me about it, so I am guessing everything is fun, but you never know.

The thing that I hate most about my job is having to run the OMNITURN every night. I wouldn't mind if we all took turns running it, since we all know how to run all the machines in the department, but NO I have to always run it. Why? I have to run it because I am the highest production runner in the shop (or so I have been told) and I guess that means I get rewarded for doing a good job by running the worst and most hated job in the department.

The thing that gets me right now about it is that they know that I am sick and that I get light headed and feel like I am going to pass out, but do they let me run one of the machines where I can sit down and relax all night? NO!!! I have to run the omniturn where I have to stand all night and load the machine every 10-14 seconds. I have had to stop a few times this week because I got hot and didn't feel good while I wathed both of the other people in the department (only 3 work 3rd in our department) kicking back and sitting down while their machines do all the work. They don't even have to stay at their machines all night because half the time they are talking to one another or reading magazines. It isn't fair....

I don't expect special treatment because I am sick, but I would appreciate some consideration and descency from my supervisors...

Why is sex worse than violence in our society?

I changed my mind about doing a long rant post and the thing that bugs me right now is how sex (which is legal between two conscenting adults) is viewed worse by our society than murder (which is illegal for everyone).

To illustrate my point I will use the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. This game has resently been changed from a M (mature) rating to an adult only rating. Now when hearing this you may not be surprised. I mean we are talking about a game where you can steal cars, kill cops, sell drugs, ect.; however, none of these are the reason why this game was given an adult rating. The game was given an adult rating based soley on the fact that there is sexual content in the game. This game should have always had an adult only rating, but not because it contained sexual content. To quote Jay Leno "...apperently a game where you steal cars and kill cops is ok. It's when sex is involved that we have to put our foot down...". The sad thing about this quote is that it is true in our society. We are more woried about our children seeing sex then we are them seeing movies, tv shows, video games, ect. that show graphic violence, including murder. Then we are surprised that our kids are getting more and more violent as the years progress....

Don't get me wrong I DO NOT blame any video game, movie, or tv show for the increase in violence in children. I blame the parents and our society for implying to our children that violence is acceptable. I don't believe that young children should be exposed to either sex or violence until they are adults, but if given the choice on if I'd rather teens have sex or go out and kill people, then I am going to have to say sex everytime (and I DO NOT think people should have sex until married...I just think that they should never kill people).

We as a society need to take a step back and look at the messages that we are sending children. We need to be better role models for our own children and we need to start taking more responsibilty as parents instead of inventing syndroms or blaming the tv for how our children are acting....

Been a while...

It's been a while since my last post, but I thought that I would get back in the flow tonight.

I have been sick for the past week or so and I haven't been able to get on here and get a good post in. I am not sure what is bothing me at the moment...I have been getting dizzy, hot and sweaty, sick to my stomach, weak, numb feeling in hands and feet, headaches and more. I have already been through an MRI on my brain but at this time I am not sure what the results of that test are...

I am hoping that it is nothing serious, but if it is then I will cross that bridge when it comes up...

I am not going to give a detailed rant tonight, but I will be back ranting in a day or so...

Question to the "gay" comment poster...

Why must you continue to call any and everyone that makes a comment here gay? I have no problem with people coming on my site and posting any comment they feel appropriate to what I write, but let's try and keep it above a 1st grade level here. I mean "homosexual math monkey", flaming homo of an ugly duck" or "monkey's butt loving anal hippo"? I mean come on let's try and have some maturity here...

All and all this is a site where I am going to put stuff that I want. I am not going to be apologetic or tone down my language because this is my rant site. I am not forcing anyone to read this, but if you do read this and feel that I am an idiot, please try and tell me why instead of just calling me "gay"

My family

My family they mean to me
What words they cannot say
The give me strength that
helps make it through the day

I miss them here as I sit at work
running a machine that's very gay
what I wouldn't give to me with them
and look at them and say:

I love you guys with all my heart and I don't know what I would do without you. I know that sometimes I am grumpy and not the best at showing how I feel, but know this that I would do anything to make sure you all were happy (well almost anything). I know this site is supposed to be my rants, but I don't feel like ranting right now... I feel lonely and I miss you guys and I will I was home with you. I hate this stupid job, but I know that I have to keep going strong so that I can support you and make sure we have a place to sleep and so it's for you guys that I push on and keep strong and force myself to do what I dread. In a few years I will get my degree and leave this job forever, but until then...at least it almost pays the bills...lol.

Well guys I just wanted you to know how much I loved you, just incase I didn't say it enough and Jason and Courntey...be good and let mommy sleep (so she isn't grouchy when daddy get's home ;))

I love you guys be home soon!!

PS. Miss, I don't like the title of your blog...

Abortion should never be a choice

My name could have been David..
My name could have been Kelly..
I could have invented a cure for cancer..
I could have been the first female president..
I would have had brothers and sister..
I would have been the first grandbaby..
I could have been an amazing dancer..
I could have been on broadway..
I could have gone to Harvard..
I could have gone to Oxford..
I would have loved to bring world peace..
I would have opened a huge orphanage in Africa..
I could have brought peace in Korea..
I could have ended communism in China..
But my life ended shortly..
I was burned alive..
I loved my mommy very much..
But she didn't love me..
She didn't think I was worth the sacrifice it takes to be a mommy..
I died when I was 10 weeks old..
I didn't know what was happening..
it began to get very hot, and I couldn't breathe..
I began burning alive..
Then as I was being born, I saw my mommy, for the first and last time ever..
The only thing I heard her say was that she was glad to be rid of me.

The abortion proceedure is done with a saline acidic solution injected into the womb of the mother. the solution than rises the temperature of the fluids inside of the mothers womb and heats up the babies body. as this takes place, it also burns the baby while it is still alive. as the baby inhales the hot womb water polluted by the saline acid, the baby's inards are burned causing the heart to stop. 1 in every 300 abortion attempts fail, and the baby is prematurely born and burned..ALIVE.Whether you admit it or not abortion is wrong there is no such thing as pro choice, the baby doesn't get a choice, and you are taking a human life.If you agree, REPOST THIS

Grendel's addition: If that poem doesn't move you or at least get some kind of emotional raction out of you then there is something wrong with you mentally!!!! I hope that one day we all realize that there is never any justification for the murder of an innocent child that only wanted to be given a chance at life. If you aren't responsible enough to be a perant then give the child up for adoption. I have no respect for anyone that has had or encouraged an abortion and if you can't give up 9 months of your life so that a child can live, then I feel sorry for you!

Are all sins bad?

I was once asked by a "freethinker" how I could accept the idea that a mother of 2 children that donated to charity and spent her entire life helping people, but didn't believe in God or accept the gift of Salvation could receive the same punishment as a murder that killed 10 people in a brutal fashion and also didn't believe in God. Now this kind of question is presented a lot of times by people that don't accept Christ and I always answer that sin is sin in God's eyes.

I answer that everyone is guilty of sin even the mother that donates to charity. The Bible says that the punishment for sin is death. It does not say that the punishment for large sins is death, but the small sins will not receive any punishment; it says the wages of ALL sin is death. The only way to escape the death penalty that all of us face from the moment we knowingly sin (I believe that babies and young children aren't held to the same accountability for sin as older people that know right and wrong and are able to understand and accept salvation though Jesus Christ) is to confess and accept Jesus's sacrifice for us on the cross. If we do not accept God's Grace then we are doomed to face our death penalty and will spend eternity in hell.

Sometimes this answer is accepted and a lot of times it isn't; in our love for sin it makes it hard for some of us to accept the truth.

Evolution fact or fiction?

Evolution theory of fact?

The answer is obvious that evolution is only a scientific theory, so why is it presented as fact in schools across the nation? Why are children taught that a theory (which has many problems and unanswered questions) is the unquestioned fact on how we came to be?

One of the many problems with evolution is the statistical improbabilities that evolution could have ever occured in the first place. Then there is the fact that there has NEVER been one fossil found that has linked one species to another and the fact that some fossils protrude into several strata layers that are said to be millions or years different in age. The aging system that scientists use in evolution is a fraud and has produced results that said a live molusk had been dead for over 3000 years. The age based on assumptions made about the past and when results don't indicate the age that they believe a fossil should be then they are discarded. There are so many problems and unanswered questions in evolution it sickens me that children are exposed to it as a fact.

I am not against the teaching of evolution in schools as a THEORY with all the questions that it presents being made clear to the children that are being taught it. I also believe that the idea of Intelligent Design should be taught to school children as well. Give the children both possibilities and let them decide for themselves. If evolutionists are so sure in their theory then they should have no problems giving people a different perspective and allowing them to make up their own minds about what they believe, but evolutionists know the problems with their theory and know that if people are allowed to weigh the evidence and are presented with other options that their theory will start to crumble and that they will have to go back to the drawing board.

Christianity on the other hand and the Genesis account of creation have been going strong for thousands of years. There has never been on scientific discovery that would make the Genesis account an impossibility. The fossil record can be better explained by a global flood than by millions of years of pressure. We now know that we don't need millions of years of pressure to create fossils as there have been fossilized minor hats found in caves. That and with all the marine life found in mountains and in areas they should not be all point to the global flood in Genesis creating the fossil records we found to day.

The Minority Rules...

When I was a kid I learned a simple and basic idea that helped my friends and I decide on whether or not we were going to play football or basketball and that idea was that...The Majority Rules. This basic concept worked well for us and even though it always left a few people doing something they really didn't want to do; most of us were happy!

Today in our country we are using a different strategy in order to decide what rules and regulations are implemented. The concept that is being used by our country is the idea that...The Minority Rules. This concept isn't as smooth working as the above idea and while this new concept leaves a few people really happy; most people are unhappy!

The majority of people in this country are against same sex marriage; however, there are many states that are creating laws that allow same sex couples to get married even though the majority of people in these states are against same gender marriages. The problem we have here is that there are a few judges out there that believe that they know best for this country and that their beliefs should be imposed on the majority that doesn't share them. This leaves all the people that are for same gender marriages in these states happy, but the majority of people that are against them happening are just left feeling annoyed and start to believe that Democracy doesn't work. This is just one example of where the minority is allowed to have a louder voice than the majority and where the minority is given their way.

I personally believe in Democracy and I believe that we have the best form of government possible (considering the nature of man), but there are times when I watch this country operate that I understand why many people don't. In our country we have laws going into effect that oppose the views of the majority of citizens, we have representatives and senators going against their constituents and voting on things based solely on their own personal beliefs, and we have judges interpreting and reinterpreting laws based solely on their own loose interpretations of the laws (even if they don't conform with views of the society they affect). I can see (though I don't agree) why voting numbers continually decline. People start to lose faith in a system that doesn't work for the majority of people in that system.
